Conversion design for healthcare

Stop losing the visitors you already paid for

Launching or scaling a healthcare funnel? I find where qualified people drop, rebuild those steps, and measure whether it actually moved.

Who I have worked with, and what moved

How I help

Where should we look first?

Start with the step that’s costing you the most. We agree the scope, measure before and after, and only carry on if the numbers say it’s worth it.

Two weeks of instrumentation and review. You get a ranked list of where qualified visitors leave, with the cost of each drop attached — and a straight answer on whether a rebuild is even worth it.

  • Analytics and session-replay pass, where it’s compliant to run
  • Step-by-step drop analysis
  • Heuristic review of every screen
  • Ranked findings with cost attached
How you’ll know it worked
A ranked list you can act on, and a baseline to measure the next change against. If the funnel’s already healthy, I’ll tell you that.
Typical timeline
Two weeks, fixed fee

The longest and most abandoned part of a healthcare funnel, rebuilt around what people can actually answer in one sitting.

  • Question-by-question drop analysis
  • Rebuilt flow, order and copy
  • Eligibility and error states
  • Staged release where traffic is thin
How you’ll know it worked
Completion rate per question, and the share who finish in one session.
Typical timeline
Three to five weeks

Where intent turns into revenue, or quietly doesn’t. Usually the cheapest place on the site to find a win.

  • Pricing presentation and trust signals
  • Payment, validation and error states
  • Recurring-billing and approval-logic review (FTC negative-option rules)
  • Mobile-first rebuild
  • Post-launch read against baseline
How you’ll know it worked
Checkout completion, and cost per acquisition against the same spend. A checkout designed around recurring-billing disclosure requirements, so it converts without creating risk.
Typical timeline
Two to four weeks

Websites and digital products designed around the one decision you need someone to make, not around a template. Scope is written per project — sometimes the whole thing, sometimes the one flow everything else depends on. The method doesn’t change: measure, design against the number, ship instrumented.

  • Websites, web apps and product flows
  • Structure, flow and screen-by-screen design
  • Design system and developer handoff
  • Measurement built in before launch
How you’ll know it worked
You launch with a baseline instead of an opinion. Every screen has a job, and from the first week you can see which ones are doing it.
Typical timeline
Scoped per project — usually six to ten weeks

A standing slot in my queue. You add requests anytime, and I work them one at a time in priority order, with most delivered in 48–72 hours. Each month starts with what moved and what didn’t, so the next change is the one worth making.

  • Unlimited requests, one active at a time
  • Most requests delivered in 48–72 hours
  • Monthly review of what moved and what didn’t
  • Full site and funnel builds scoped separately
How you’ll know it worked
A conversion number that keeps moving month over month, with a written record of every change and its result.
Typical timeline
Monthly, flat fee. Pause or cancel with 30 days' notice.

Rebuilt an urgent-care funnel that had been redesigned three times without moving

The site had been redesigned repeatedly on taste, not evidence. We instrumented the funnel first, found where qualified visitors were actually leaving, and rebuilt those steps around one offer and one action.

Read the case study
“Jose recognized the problem as one related to the data rather than the design itself. The result: conversion rates increased and cost of customer acquisition dropped.”

Conversion rose after the funnel was rebuilt on the data

“Our website has undergone multiple redesigns, yet none of those versions led to a significant improvement in conversions. Jose recognized the problem as one related to the data rather than the design itself.”

Every number on this page is measured against a pre-launch baseline.

What it costs

Fixed price, agreed in writing before we start.

No hourly billing and no change orders. Pick the shape that fits the problem — or start with the audit and let the numbers choose it for you.

Development is scoped separately. Every price is fixed and agreed in writing before anything starts.

A good fit

  • You have traffic — or you’re launching and want the baseline right the first time.
  • Healthcare, wellness, or a funnel shaped like one: intake, eligibility, checkout.
  • You can give me analytics access and one person who can approve changes.

Not what I do

  • Brand and visual identity. If the brand is the problem, I’ll say so and point you elsewhere.
  • Development. I hand off build-ready files with a written spec; the build is scoped separately.
  • A redesign judged on taste. With no baseline there’s nothing to be right or wrong about later.

Every project is led by me, and you work with me directly on strategy and decisions. There’s no account manager.

Audits from $1,800. Focused fixes from $3,500. Full builds from $8,000. Ongoing optimization from $3,500/mo. Everything is fixed price, agreed in writing before we start.

I design, and development is scoped separately. If you have developers, I hand off build-ready files with a written spec and answer questions while they build. If you don’t, we’ll talk through development options on a call.

The audit takes two weeks. After a rebuild ships, the first honest read against baseline is usually four to six weeks.

Analytics access, whatever you already suspect is wrong, and one person who can approve changes.

Mostly healthcare and wellness, because intake and eligibility problems repeat and I know where they hide. I take other funnels when the problem is the same shape.

Yes. Most of my work is in regulated healthcare, so I design around the rules that affect conversion: claims language restricted by FDA misbranding rules, recurring-billing disclosures under FTC rules, and tracking limits on pages that handle health information. I flag risks in the design and copy as I go. I’m not a lawyer, so final sign-off stays with your legal or compliance team.

No. I work on the steps between interest and payment. If the brand is the problem, I’ll say so and point you elsewhere.

It gets written down, along with what it ruled out. You keep the instrumentation either way, so the next decision is cheaper than this one.
